This coming Saturday, OCT, 23rd beginning around noon we hope to set traps at the KFoot Sporting Clays range. Anyone interested is helping us move some of the traps around for new presentations would be most welcome! Of course, all work and no fun is not our style so bring your shotgun and after the work is done we'll shoot some of the new targets!
Also, after much thought and consternation, the Sporting Clays program at KFoot has appointed a new Senior Vice President in charge of all complaints dealing with the 5-Stand and Sporting Clays programs. Y'all put your hands together and give it up for Mike Jordan! cheers Yes, if there is anything you'd like to gripe about, Mike is your man! I'm sure you'll be impressed, as have we, in his insight into complaints and his suggestions as how you should deal with any problems you may have!

For someone who has ZERO Sporting Clays experience (other than seeing it shot a few times)... What tools might we need to reset traps and or work on the other things around the stations?

I guess I will have to dig out the shotgun for post work festivities! Cool

    Mitch,
We will primarily be moving traps around so as to give the SC course some new target presentations. There are some traps that will will have to work on a bit but you need not concern yourself with this. Given our terrain we may have to "man up" on a few of the traps so as to move them. Otherwise, we will just generally be cleaning up the range and maybe cut a few small tree branches. May need to adress some underbrush as well. Thanks for your help. I dont't see it as turning out to be "chain gang" type of stuff.
