Youth and adult classes Empty Youth and adult classes

Post  Gomo Tue Feb 14, 2012 2:43 pm

Hey I was wondering if there are any youth classes and clubs that I can get my boys involved in. There ages are 9 and 8? My nine year old is really interested in firearms and has of lately been talking a lot about archery. I appreciate any information. I also would be interested in classes for myself. Thanks I have been a member for a while but haven't really gotten involved but would love to do so. Thanks.

We do not currently have any type of structured program or class for juniors or youth. I would recommend you consider signing up for the trap/skeet class we offer. From past experience though, we find that this type of class is best suited for ages 12 or 13 and up.
We once had a junior program of sorts and if we can find some qualified instructors willing to run such a program, we would consider reinstating such a program.
With regard to archery, again we do not have any type of structured program. However, if you will bring the boys to any of the 3D tournaments we hold (listed on the calendar), we have a lot of people with a lot of archery experience who would be more than happy to share their knowledge and work with the boys. There are a lot of kids as young as 5 who shoot our tournaments, and we are always happy to support and encourage their participation and interest.
