Has anyone ever considered installing another row of targets at the pistol range beside the 22 rifle range for shooting silhouettes or other targets at maybe 12 yards out? I drive by there and see folks trying to set up boxes and stuff closer for shooting from a standing position. I myself have shot there a few times when it was raining and thought it would be nice to have the option to shoot targets closer in. I would be willing to pitch in some labor and maybe some materials if it was OK to put the closer targets in.

I have talked with several of the board members. I you would like to get with Tom and build a portable Target frame and Backers, it would be fine. That way members could shoot from 20 ft to 25 yards. The range was designed to host Bulls Eye matches. That is the reason for 25 and 50 yd backers only. In today's world we have very little interest in Bulls Eye and the portable Target Frame would allow for more use of the facility. Give me a call and I will see what we can do to make it happen.
