To rejoin or not

I joined the club last year to shoot shotguns mainly. I mostly like sporting clays.

The day I joined is the only day in the last year that I was able to shoot my shotgun at kettlefoot. Every time I went up the course was closed because nobody was going to be there that saturday or something was going on. It also seems that even the Skeet ranges were always busy with something.

I have not been back in several months and its time to rejoin, does anyone know if this is going to get better or just the way it is???

I think I know the answer but wanted to throw it out there before I decided.

I am working on automating Sporting Clays (5 Stations) and 5-Stand. When finished (early Summer I hope) These areas will be open to members 7 Days a week. You will need to purchase a "debit Card". I also plan to automate field 1 for Skeet and Trap also. During the Summer and Winter we have Trophy shoots on the first Sat. of each Month with ATA afterward (time permitting). The 4th Sat. is ATA Match every Month. Mike Jordan has been recovering from Hip replacement surgery this Winter and has been unable to open Sporting Clays. He has now recovered and until the automation work is completed will open the Sporting Clays course on Saturdays..
Jeff, I have no idea why you have not been able to shoot at any other time but the day you joined. I am really sorry that you have not been able to enjoy your membership. All I can say is I am trying to make everything at Kettlefoot more accessable. I would hope that you retain your membership. If you have the spare time you might want to participate in any of our scheduled matches coming this year and volunteer to help open and close the Sporting Clays course.
