Reminder to pistol shooters

After this months IDPA shoot, we had a gentleman shooting his pistol on the center fire rifle range. Unfortunately, no one got his license tag or his name. Please confine your pistol shooting to the Auxiliary/IDPA range and/or the lower "paper target only" pistol range.
The only exception to the above is Club Rule #2 which allows target sighted or scoped long range pistols.

Sorry to hear about the person using the wrong range. Perhaps it was a club member who was upset thinking all the pistol ranges were closed, when actually it was just the upper ranges. Hopefully all IDPA shooters know the rules better than that and we try to enforce proper shooting techniques at the club. We run a "cold range" at Kettlefoot and no IDPA shooters asked for permission to shoot on the rifle range. I think most IDPA shooters know to stay on the IDPA ranges and they can clear any malfunctions on the unused pistol ranges.
