THE HOLIDAYS ARE FAST APPROACHING: Consider giving a membership to family or friends. It's a good deal. Payment will give the new member 15 months for the price of 12. Or, avoid the rush and pay your 2016-2017 Dues early. Contact the club secretary, Lynne, at 276-645-0562 or carpal@bvu.net for details.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: If you should ever have a 911 emergency, the physical address for the club is 21101 Kettlefoot Lane, Bristol, Virginia. This address is printed on the front of your membership card.
GUESTS: Any time you bring a guest to the club, you must sign them in at the club house and pick up a Guest Tag. This means family and/or friends of any age. This is required by our Liability Insurance. If something were to happen and your guest was not registered, the incident may not be covered.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Many of the shotgun and rifle disciplines have experienced an increase in participation - - which is great news. The problem is, we only have a handful of people willing to help organize and run the shoots. We all enjoy the luxury of just showing up to an event and participating. But we forget that someone did all of the behind the scenes work in order for the event to take place. If any one is really interested in “making a commitment” to assist with the leagues or monthly shoots, please contact Wayne at ewwills@btes.tv.
FRIENDLY REMINDER: Please help keep ranges clean - pick up your brass, hulls, and trash.
WE HAVE PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN
TROPHY SHOOT: 1st Saturday of each month (trap/skeet, meal included)
USPSA: 3rd Saturday of each month
IDPA: 4th Saturday of each month
ATA: 4th Saturday (occasionally 5th Sat.) of each month & after Trophy Shoot on 1st Saturday
BIG 50: Thursdays – registration and start times vary - - check website for details
300 TARGET: Multiple Saturdays - Singles, Doubles, Handicap - - ATA & VTA fees apply
SPORTING CLAYS: Every Sunday
5 STAND: Every Tuesday
IR 50/50: April thru September
ARA: April thru September
INDOOR .22 RIMFIRE RIFLE: Thursdays year round, start time usually between 5-6pm
INDOOR IR 50/50: SOTY 9:00am start time, 3 Gun followed by Unlimited, 14 shooter limit.
